Kerikeri based Family Funeral Services is an independent New Zealand owned and operated funeral home which provides a full range of services to assist following the death of a family member. Our caring and compassionate New Zealand funeral directors will guide you and support you through every aspect of planning while dealing with loss. As one of Kerikeri's leading funeral homes, we are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and attend to all matters from taking the person who has passed away into care, arranging legal documentation, providing respectful services, and handling all procedures leading to, and following, burial or cremation. We take care of every detail, offering personalised services to honour the life of the person who has passed away and creating an environment where family and friends can express their love and respect for the deceased and support each other at a difficult time.

Having owned a funeral home for all of his adult life, Joe appreciates the importance of providing excellent customer service. His kind and generous nature lead Joe to the industry when he was 18 years old.
Josephine Citizen
Funeral Director
Josephine has worked in the community as a nurse for many years, along with years of experience in Palliative Care. With full training, Josephine the National Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2000.
Pre-Planning
New Zealand Funeral Home in Kerikeri can assist with pre-planning funeral and will guide you through the process of documenting your wishes and all aspects of planning in advance. Have total control over the way you say farewell and complete peace-of-mind knowing that you have organised and paid for your future memorial service. We offer advanced and bond plans giving you a secure (capital guaranteed) investment vehicle and a way to safe-guard against rising costs. A prepaid contract is where you determine your requirements, agree on the costs and enter into a formal arrangement, paying in advance.
