Sports / Interest / Hobbies

Enjoyed all sports and was quite athletic. Very competitive, but also a great Sport.
Started playing soccer at school, then went on to coach Tony (sons) soccer team. An avid Badminton player and would play on a regular basis. Enjoyed a spot of Golf - was also a good water skier, table tennis player and in later years joined a tramping Club, whereby he tramped many of the scenic South Island tracks.
He enjoyed music and dancing. Both Barry and Winifred were part of the Rock n Roll club and also supported many local bands at dance nights - including Georges (Princes St) that was a favourite.
Barry also enjoyed photography and was seen at many local events, weddings, funerals and points of community interest - with his camera, taking shots.
