Family Announcement: "Passed away peacefully, after an illness and a long battle with his health, on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, aged 78 years. Loving husband and soulmate of Helen for 55 years, dearly loved Dad and father-in-law of Karen Affleck and Sarah Buxton, John and Maria Affleck, Jo and Guy Michaels, loved and fun Grandad of Rebecca, Ben; AJ, Nakita; Nic, Hayden, and Grace. A loved brother and uncle of his extended family. Special thanks to those that have been involved in Gary's care over the years and in particular recently. In lieu of flowers donations to Gore Hospital, 9 Birch Lane, Gore, would be greatly received and appreciated. Messages to 3 Romney Place, Gore 9710."
