Family Announcement: "LATTO, Roland John. Passed away peacefully on the 12 August 2022, at Waikato Hospital, with family. Aged 83 years. Loved husband and great supporter of Marjorie and the late Thelma. Father of Rex and Suzanne, Ross and Davena, Douglas and Jenny, Shane and Julie Stepdad of Ben and Justine, Wendy and Frank, Matt and Rachel, Rachel and Chresten. A service for Roland will be held at The Morrinsville Baptist Church, on Monday, 22 August 2022 at 11am. Followed by Private Burial at the Piako Lawn Cemetery."
